After graduating from Northeastern University, I pursued a career in sales. The temporary staffing business was my calling and I enjoyed a number of years of success. In my limited free time, I developed a new hobby, designing and creating my own stationary for personal use. Soon my original creations caught the eye of friends and family who asked me to design stationary and invitations for them. My fiance (now husband) and close friends and family saw great potential in me and helped me realize that my hobby could actually become a business.
The business happily had to become a small side venture as most of my time had to be directed to my marriage to Scott followed by the arrival of Stanley our new puppy and then two beautiful daughters, Rylie and Zoe (zyliedesigns). With the girls now in pre-school, I am fortunate to have two full time jobs, caring for my family and running Zylie Designs. I take great pleasure and inspiration in creating all aspects of stationary, invitations and announcements. I am so fortunate to have been able to turn a hobby into a career.
